Cayuse Research Suite
Beginning January 5, 2026, the Office of Sponsored Projects transitioned to the Cayuse Research Suite to manage proposals, awards, subawards, compliance, and to provide additional reporting metrics.
Cayuse is a suite of software products to assist with research administration. Cayuse should sound familiar because we already had two Cayuse products: Proposals (424) and FundFinder/Pivot. Now, MSU has obtained several additional modules including Sponsored Projects, Outside Interests, Animal Oversight, Vivarium Operations, Human Ethics, Hazard Safety, and Analytics. All of the products sit on top of the Platform where all data resides in one central location and connected hub which allows for data sharing and workflows across the applications.
Training
